In consequence of the new alcohol limit for the road traffic (0.5‰ instead of 0.8‰) by this year, Feldschlösschen is expecting an increase of the consumption of non-alcoholic beers. To take advantage of this trend, the leading Swiss brewery has improved the recipe of its non-alcoholic beer, to ensure an even better beer taste. At the same time, «Schlossgold» has been changed to «Feldschlösschen Alkoholfrei» (Feldschlösschen non-alcoholic). «The new name allows a more direct and clearer communication that the product is a non-alcoholic beer», says Tobias Lang, Junior Brand Manager of Feldschlösschen. The previous name «Schlossgold» stays on the label during the lead time as a subtitle. «‹Feldschlösschen Alkoholfrei› completes the range of Feldschlösschen lager beers and offers together with ‹Feldschlösschen Original› and ‹Feldschlösschen 2.4› (with only 2.4% alcohol by volume) the same beer enjoyment by different alcohol levels», explains Tobias Lang. Although there is a lower alcohol limit now, with «Feldschlösschen Alkoholfrei» drivers do not have to abandon their lager-beer. «Feldschlösschen Alkoholfrei» is now available in bars, restaurants and in the beverage- and retail business.
