On 1 July 2010 Feldschlösschen will adjust beer prices selectively for certain brands and packaging types. This price adjustment applies to beers in returnable bottles and draught beers of the Feldschlösschen and Cardinal brands, and amounts to about 4% for these products.

Reasons for the price adjustment are recessive market trends, the massive decline in returnable bottles and sharp increase in market cultivation costs in the gastronomy.

Feldschlösschen’s previous price adjustment was carried out on 1 January 2009. As in the past, customers do not have to bear the total cost increase. Thanks to internal measures for increasing efficiency, Feldschlösschen is able to absorb part of the additional costs.
