Carlsberg will establish an international service centre in Poland for its accountancy functions. Feldschlösschen will then transfer standardised tasks to Poland on the 1st June, 2007. In addition to cost savings, this represents a reduction of 26 jobs in Switzerland.

In April 2006, Carlsberg announced the creation of a Group-wide service centre for financial services in Poznan/Poland. In recent months, Feldschlösschen, which belongs to the Carlsberg Group, has analysed the savings potentials for Switzerland. This showed that tasks in the fields of finances and master data management were suited to being transferred to Poland. Twenty six jobs – including eight temporary jobs – will be affected by this and transferred to the SSC in Poland on the 1st June, 2007. In addition, the management of master data taking place in Freiburg and Rheinfelden will become centralised in Rheinfelden. Nothing will change for customers. They will continue to have direct contact with Feldschlösschen.

Feldschlösschen, together with the affected staff, will actively seek amicable solutions over the next few months. Internal transfers as well as early retirements are planned. Wherever possible, redundancies will be avoided.

“We are operating in a fiercely-contested market and continually need to increase our competitiveness. This step enables us to further optimise our internal processes and reduce our costs,” states Thomas Amstutz, CEO, Feldschlösschen Group.
