Uma Thurman is the muse in the new campaign of the Schweppes brand. With her charisma, elegance, sensuality and charm, the famous Hollywood actress (“Kill Bill”) is promoting the equally famous soft drink.
Uma Thurman is acting glamorous and mysterious in the new Schweppes advertising campaign. The Hollywood star and the new international campaign are presenting the Schweppes brand in a fresh, sensuous manner and with subtle humour.
Schweppes had already regularly worked together with famous partners in the past in order to emphasise the uniqueness of the brand. This time Schweppes hired the well-known American photographer and director David LaChapelle to stage the new campaign with Uma Thurman.
Uma Thurman is playing herself in the new TV spot. With a combination of colours and sensuality, with aesthetic allusions to the Twenties and the tongue-in-cheek question “Hey, what did you expect?” Schweppes is continuing its long tradition of successful advertising.
The new spot can be seen on various Swiss TV channels as from 19th May. At the same time the Schweppes poster campaign will be launched all over Switzerland.
Schweppes is considered to be the world’s oldest soft drink. The history of this brand dates back to 1783, when the German entrepreneur Jacob Schweppe invented in Geneva a process for carbonating mineral water.
Feldschlösschen is the exclusive licensing partner of Schweppes International in Switzerland. All Schweppes products for the Swiss market are produced by Feldschlösschen at its Rhäzüns site.
