Innovative new beer products and packaging concepts


 
As the leading Swiss brewing group, Feldschlösschen Beverages Ltd. is extremely innovative, having brought 15 new beer products to the market in the last few years, as well as several new packaging concepts. On the one hand, many of these new products correspond to the growing wish of consumers for beers with lower alcohol content – or none at all – and on the other hand, they meet increasing demand for specialty beers. With the diversty of our product range, Feldschlösschen Beverages Ltd. is truly helping to promote a beer culture in Switzerland.

According to data monitored by the market research institute ACNielsen, the light beer «Feldschlösschen 2.4» is Switzerland’s most successful new beer launch in many years. What’s more, the name «2.4» has established itself as a generic name for light beers: consumers even order a «2.4» in bars and restaurants served by our competition, even though Feldschlösschen Beverages Ltd., with the two light beers «Feldschlösschen 2.4» and «Cardinal 2.4», is the only brewer offering a product with an alcohol content of 2.4 percent. Our competitors all produce beer with a higher alcohol content.

To develop new products, Feldschlösschen Beverages Ltd. has established a dedicated innovation team, as well as a panel of beer tasters who receive special training in how to use the senses to evaluate a new product.
